Quality Policy MSc in Sustainable Finance and Accounting<\/span><\/p><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The quality policy of the Department of\nAccounting and Finance is fully harmonized with the quality policy of the\nUniversity of the Peloponnese which aims to enhance the prestige and\ninternational recognition of all the Institution’s degrees, to enhance the\nquality of academic activities, to increase the satisfaction and trust of labor\nand society in knowledge,  the abilities\nand skills of the Institution’s graduates, the enhancement of the quality and\nquantity of the Institution’s research activities and the strengthening of the\nculture of quality within the Institution.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

In addition, the Department, through its\nquality policy, aims to continuously improve the quality of undergraduate and\npostgraduate study programs and the educational process and seeks to develop a\ncreative environment of research and free scientific expression for all staff\nand members of its academic community.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

The Department recognizes Quality as the main\nmeans for achieving a high level of education and research activity. The\ndevelopment of the culture of Quality Assurance in all members of the\nDepartment is the cornerstone to achieve this goal.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

The Department is committed to:<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

  • to\n serve its educational and research goals and to operate within the\n framework of scientific ethics, accountability, equal opportunities and\n social acceptance.<\/o:p><\/span><\/li>\n
  • for\n the implementation of a Quality Policy, which will support the academic\n physiognomy and the quality of the Undergraduate and Postgraduate study\n programs and will promote the goals it has set.<\/o:p><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>

    The Department is committed to the\nimplementation of this quality policy, implementing the quality procedures\nprovided by the ESDP of the University of the Peloponnese, with the ultimate\ngoal of their continuous improvement through evaluation and redesign procedures\nof Undergraduate and Postgraduate study programs.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

    For the “MSc in Sustainable Finance and\nAccounting<\/b>“, the Department has formulated and implements an\nintegrated quality policy that supports the academic physiognomy and\norientation of the MSc, promotes its purpose and scope, monitors quality\nobjectives and implements internal and external quality assessment procedures\nin order to continuously improve the educational work provided. <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

    In particular, through the quality policy of\nthe Department for the Postgraduate Program, it promotes:<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

      \n
    • the\n organization of the internal Quality Assurance system, within the\n framework set by the Quality Assurance Unit of the University of the\n Peloponnese,<\/o:p><\/span><\/li>\n
    • the\n consolidation of a sense of responsibility among the members of the\n teaching, administrative and other staff and the students of the\n Postgraduate Program, as well as the role that corresponds to them in\n Quality Assurance,<\/o:p><\/span><\/li>\n
    • the\n dedication to the educational process and the progress of science based on\n the needs of students, their future professional rehabilitation and the\n needs of society in general,<\/o:p><\/span><\/li>\n
    • the\n promotion of student-centered learning,<\/o:p><\/span><\/li>\n
    • the\n achievement of the learning outcomes of the Postgraduate Program in\n accordance with the European and National Qualifications Framework for\n Higher Education,<\/o:p><\/span><\/li>\n
    • safeguarding\n academic principles, scientific ethics and equal opportunities in\n learning;<\/o:p><\/span><\/li>\n
    • ensuring\n the quality of the curriculum and shaping it based on international\n academic standards and in particular with the HAHE standard,<\/o:p><\/span><\/li>\n
    • the\n quality of support services (administrative services, libraries, student\n welfare services) offered to postgraduate students,<\/o:p><\/span><\/li>\n
    • the\n extroversion and publication of information of the Postgraduate Program,<\/o:p><\/span><\/li>\n
    • the\n rational allocation and management of the necessary resources for the\n operation and development of the Postgraduate Program,<\/o:p><\/span><\/li>\n
    • the\n selection of teaching staff, especially external collaborators, with\n qualifications suitable for the education of postgraduate students,<\/o:p><\/span><\/li>\n
    • the\n strengthening of human resources, for the effective coverage of the\n educational needs of the Postgraduate Program, as well as their support in\n their work.<\/o:p><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>

      In order to ensure Quality, the Department of\nAccounting and Finance implements a Quality Target Set for the Postgraduate\nProgram in order to improve and develop the Postgraduate Program. The Quality\nGoal Setting of the Postgraduate Program is subject to annual evaluation,\nrevision and approval by the Department’s Internal Evaluation Committee in\ncollaboration with the Coordinating Committee of the Postgraduate Program, the\nQuality Assurance Unit of the University of Peloponnese and the Assembly of the\nDepartment.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>
